Greenoaks has moved
to a new location
Our Maternity and Gynaecology services have now moved to a new location on the hospital grounds.
Greenoaks is now a short distance
from the main car park and opposite the Urgency and Emergency Care Centre (UECC).
Service-users will receive the
same excellent care at the fully modernised site – which will keep the familiar
name Greenoaks. Our phone number will also remain the same: 01709 424513.
If you have an appointment after 28 July, you’ll
receive information on the new location and a map in your letter. Click here for
a detailed map of the location.
The move brings all women's outpatient services under the same
roof with improved facilities, supporting women in getting the service they require in a women-centred unit.
Improvements at the new location include better access and car parking as it is next to the
main public hospital car park. There will be a staffed reception along with
self-check-in kiosks to help prevent queues, which will also support current social
We’re very excited to welcome you to Greenoaks.

What is Maternity care?
Maternity is the care of women and their babies during pregnancy, birth and the first few weeks after birth.
What is Gynaecology?
Gynaecology is the treatment of conditions of the female reproductive organs and fertility and some early pregnancy conditions, also we treat conditions in women of all ages, and undertake investigations for a wide range of female specific problems.
We have community midwives who work within the maternity service but deliver care nearer to home including, GP services and Children's Centres. When you find out you are pregnant, a midwife from your local area will take responsibility for your care and will be your first point of contact. The local midwives will also provide care and support after the birth and if you want to have your baby at home.
