Welcome to the Rotherham Research Alliance area of the Rotherham Hospital website.
What is the Rotherham Research Alliance?
The Rotherham Research Alliance is an NHS Healthcare organisation-led alliance between Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust and Rotherham Clinical Commissioning Group. The objective of the Alliance is to work with regional, national and international partners to develop and promote research activity in the interest of developing and evaluating interventions that are innovative and cost-effective for the benefit of the community and wider population. We are committed to innovation and to the promotion and conduct of research directed at meeting the current and future health needs of our patients and the community.
We undertake a significant amount of research and our aim is to build on our record of accomplishment by exploring new models of collaboration with our partners and by seeking to forge new partnerships with other organisations. We welcome enquiries from researchers, patients, members of the public and commercial companies who would like advice or further information about our research interests and activity.
What are our aims?
We aim to support staff and researchers to undertake research within healthcare organisations. We are responsible for the governance of research and development activity. On this website you will find information on how to submit your projects for ethical approval and NHS permission, as well as funding and training opportunities.
