What is the Alliance?
The Rotherham Research Alliance is an NHS Healthcare organisation-led alliance between Rotherham Hospital and Rotherham Primary Care Trust that works with partners to develop and promote research activity and intervention that is innovative and cost-effective for the benefit of the community and wider population. We are committed to innovation and to the promotion and conduct of research, which will improve the current and future needs of our patients and the community.
We undertake a significant amount of research and our aim is to build on our record of accomplishment by exploring new models of collaboration with our partners and by seeking to forge new partnerships with other organisations. We welcome enquiries from researchers, patients, members of the public and commercial companies who would like advice or further information about our research interests and activity.

We aim to support staff and researchers to undertake research within healthcare organisations. We are responsible for the governance of research and development activity.
