Appointment times

Appointments can be offered to patients from Monday to Friday between 9am and 4.15pm although exact availability is varied depending on appointment type.

Thursday is designated primarily to Paediatrics.

Specialist clinics

External Paediatric Clinics are held at Newman School, on a Wednesday morning, and at Hilltop and Kelford Schools, on alternate Friday mornings. These clinics are for children attending the schools and for children under the care of the Paediatric Physiotherapists.

An Orthotist is also present for the MDT Foor Ulcer Clinics on Tuesday afternoons.

Collect and drop-off times

Footwear or other orthoses requiring repair should be presented in a clean condition to the Orthotics Reception desk during the following times:

10am - 12pm or 2pm - 4pm (Monday-Thursday)

If asked to collect an orthotic device, patients are usually given a collect appointment when their goods are ready. If this is unsuitable we request patients contact the department to rearrange so their goods can be available for them.

Closing times

The department is closed at weekends and bank holidays. We are also closed daily between 12.30-1pm for lunch.
