Where is the main restaurant?
The main restaurant (known as the Rooftop Restaurant) is
located on
A level
and is open 18 hours per day - from 8am to 2am, to provide meals for hospital staff on shifts and visitors. An average of 1,000 customers use the 320-seater Rooftop
Restaurant
every day.
Breakfast is served from 8am to 11am
Meals are served between 12
noon
and 2pm, 4pm and 7pm.
Outside mealtimes the restaurant remains open,
serving
snacks, sandwiches and drinks. There is also 24-hour access to
vending
for salads, sandwiches and hot drinks.
There is a salad bar within the restaurant, plus a sandwich bar
where customers
can choose their type of bread and filling.
The hot meal counter includes a daily vegetarian option. Jacket
potatoes
are a daily feature as a healthy option.
Where are the shops?
In addition to the Rooftop Restaurant, there
are several shops in the reception area next to the main
entrance, including;
- A florist
- A Boots pharmacy
- A newsagents
- A clothes shop
