Welcome to The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust
The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust is a modern, progressive Trust, with a reputation for clinical excellence and efficiency.
Our main Rotherham Hospital site is situated just two miles south of Rotherham town centre in pleasant suburban surroundings, within close proximity to the M1 and M18 motorways, six miles from Sheffield and close to Doncaster. We also operate a large number of community services out of other sites across Rotherham including Rotherham Community Health Centre, close to the town centre.
Care Quality Commission to reinspect Trust
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) will be reinspecting The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust from 27 – 30 September 2016.
They are keen to get the views of patients, relatives, the public and colleagues about the hospital and community services provided by the Trust.

How we are transforming healthcare in Rotherham
This video represents our vision of community-based healthcare for Rotherham. It is based around local teams from health and social care working together in the community to provide care closer to, or at home. Whilst emphasis will be on prevention and self-care when a patient does need acute care it is important they spend no longer than is required in hospital. This way of working will transform the way in which care is delivered and we are piloting the first integrated locality team in Health Village, Rotherham town centre, on 1 July 2016.
